Like me, maybe your life just took an unexpected detour, whether from divorce, serious illness, an empty nest, or caring for aging parents (or E: all of the above). Or maybe you have just found yourself having too many one-sided conversations with your dog. Laugh Lines & Life Goals is a place where we will focus on ways to live our best lives, find the joy in the everyday and tackle life’s challenges with some humor and a healthy dose of sarcasm.

My name is Donna and I found myself staring down 50 facing one of life’s toughest challenges, the end of a long-term marriage. Spoiler alert: I wasn’t invited to be a part of the “future of your marriage” planning committee. Suddenly I found myself the single mom of two teenagers trying to rebuild a life that I never imaged living. While I have done more than my share of crying, I have done a lot of laughing too.  Let’s face it, if you have to reinvent your life, you might as well do it with a laugh - or at least a sarcastic grin and a whole lot of coffee!

Embracing the messy, unpredictable and downright absurd parts of midlife can be fun, or at least funny.
